About Us
FooDelicious Inc. is a Canadian owned and operated Importer, Exporter, Re-packer and Distributor of QUALITY FROZEN FRUITS and VEGETABLES FROM AROUND THE GLOBE located in Ingersoll Ontario, Canada.
Over the last decade there has been a great deal of consolidation in our industry. That consolidation reached its peak in 2009 and several individuals with years of experience were left without work. As a result of these changes several smaller retailers and distributors were left with fewer choices, larger minimum order requirements and longer lead times to receive those orders.
Seeing a need for a niche supplier in the industry a small group of individuals got together and FooDelicious Inc. ( operating as a numbered company initially ) was formed in August 2009. In January 2010 the name FooDelicious Inc. became official.
As a distributor FooDelicious serves several smaller retailers and manufacturers in the Hamilton, Kitchener / Waterloo and Toronto areas but we also service customers in areas such as Barrie, Belleville and Napanee. Moving outside of Ontario, FooDelicious Inc. supplies Quality Fruits and Vegetables to distributors as far away as Winnipeg, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, and P.E.I.
FooDelicious Inc. is not just a re-packer and distributor, we also supply ingredients to manufacturers who are packaging products for Presidents Choice, Maple Leaf Foods and Sobeys to name a few.
This past year has seen FooDelicious Inc. move into a new facility in Ingersoll Ontario. The new facility has recently been registered by the CFIA and more than triples the size of our re-pack, labelling and blending areas. New packaging equipment is on its way and we are excited by the opportunities that lie ahead as we move into our third year of business.
From the simplest fruits and vegetables like strawberries and cherries and peas and corn to the more extravagant line of FIRE ROASTED products and IQF herbs and spices, tropical fruits and even fruit purees FooDelicious Inc. are waiting to serve you no matter what your taste might be.
